Insect Dream

There exists somewhere a notebook, and a page describing a dream. It cannot be found at this time, but as far as Wyndham can recall, it goes like this:

"On the city subway station, I become suddenly aware that I can see things that I could not before... some of the people, with their briefcases, have tails, segmented like scorpions."

"Those with invisible tails periodically ejaculate a waxy substance over the heads of those that do not, this goes unnoticed, and the substance is absorbed over a period of seven and a half hours."

Wyndham feels that the original version was much better...
