Moriarty's Flat

A metal staircase leads up to professor Moriarty's flat, which was built up the side of a railway bridge above a café on Luxlan, which was now closed, with its windows boarded up. Black iron catwalks over the rooftops gave access to a number of flats and studios above street level.

On one of the rooftops on the street opposite: two figures sitting, black against a dark blue sky, some small detail of their clothing visible due to the light reflected by the frost on the rooftops.

A note on set design: The colour scheme should be strong and warm throughout, despite a suggestion of frost. The set for the street and staircase leading up to the professors flat should be made largely of sheets suspended above street level. The sheets have images of brick and windows printed or projected onto them, but despite being urban, give an impression of lightness, newness. The iron staircase: a black, ornate fire-escape, with the catwalks in the same style. The background to the whole scene should be a deep blue (present not only along what would be the skyline, but also breaking into the scene lower down), and the lighting a warm, glowing pink, leaving patches of darkness.
