Night Club

How long had I been here? Can't remember, bad state. Were we hiding here? In a club, yes, was brought here by T.U.E.S.D.A.Y. (who is he anyway?) and I think he's talking to me. I'm sitting in an alcove by a dancefloor, watching men in masks hitting drums. I drink water, and remember that a while (how long?) ago, I was drinking water, was meant to be swallowing a little ball wrapped in paper. It's very hot, and crouded, but the room is empty except for the drum rhythm becoming solid in the waves of smoke.

Where did the people go?

T.U.E.S.D.A.Y. - Heh. They're still here: can you see smoke?

Yes.

T.U.E.S.D.A.Y. - (smiles) That's people. Come on, we're ready to go.
