Visiting Professor Moriarty

Sound Effects: footsteps in thick frost.

Lighting: Pink streetlighting, dark blue of a late night, some white from a moon through cloud.

Thomas Wyndham gets off the multilevelled train at the central station, puts his bag up onto his shoulder and walks the familiar streets towards Moriarty's flat. A montage sequence of the last times he walked this route destracts him from the cold.

Frost, pink and blue light (distinctive and different to Thomas's home town) it is about half past eleven in the evening.

Historically Moriarty would still be up for many hours at this point, but Thomas is unnanounced and climbs the fire escape to the flat above the rooftops. Moriarty is clearly absent, and the Dadacafe is closed permanently, with boarded up walls.

There are two figures sitting on an opposite rooftop, and as Thomas considers what to do next his mind invents a conspiratorial scenario for these two figures.

It's cold outside, and Thomas remembers that he has a key to the studio workspace behind the Dadacafe, so he lets himself in while he decides what to do next.
